Killington, VT, Sunday 19DEC04 (Dave Shulman)

I had my first day at Killington yesterday. Conditions were
surprisingly good with a long bump run under needles eye lift. It only
took a few runs there to get the legs burning. Aside from that, I spent
the rest of the day checking out the different trails around the
mountain. I was skiing with an old friend/coach from high school.

Here's what wasn't surprising:
1. Parked 1/2 way down the mountain road between K1 (former Killington
base lodge) and Snowshead.
2. Got a small blister hiking up the road in my ski boots.
3. Trails were really crowded and crossing trails was just plain
dangerous.
